The patented Great Scott Foods method was developed with quality in mind. As such, this enables any individual to cook a pre-prepared raw meal to “restaurant quality” that is NOT identifiable as a ready or convenience meal.

Also, it enables middle to upper market restaurants to operate a “chefless” kitchen. In so doing this will enable restaurant managers to rotate staff [restaurant-bar-kitchen] thus providing excellent multi-tasking between employees.

From a nutritional stand point the product is excellent for use in institutions such as:

Canteens
Armed forces
Police

This is especially useful where nutrition/malnutrition is a critical matter. Furthermore:

The patents allow raw sauce and raw protein to be packed using a gas flushing vacuum packer.
The proteins do not explode when microwaved.
The raw sauce does not boil over during cooking.
Three stage cooking of the pack contents:
Microwave
Poach and microwave
Steam and microwave (as the sauce reduces)
The pack contents can be cooked in an conventional oven / convector oven.
The pack can be emptied in to a covered saucepan and cooked.
The product is freezer stable and will cook straight from the freezer at –20° Celsius in the microwave without defrosting.
Please note the total absence of preservatives and artificial colours. Bacteria do not live in a vacuum and the whole process is subjected to a vacuum twice.
